OUR MISSION
When we married on January 28, 1984 our hearts' desire was, and remains today, to be in the center of God's perfect will. As we prayed, read HIS Word, talked with our Pastor and other spiritual advisors, there crystallized in our minds a concept that is the motivation of our lives and for all we do.
We believe that the primary human problem is self-centeredness and can only be resolved by allowing Jesus Christ to make us "a new creation". The solution become evident when one receives the grace and mercy of God and appropriates His life.
We believe and attempt to teach that the home/family is the primary institution that God created to "grow up" people as described in Luke 2: 52: "Jesus grew in wisdom and in stature and in favor with both God and man." Experientially, we have learned that people who do not learn essential maturation skills in the home of origin ultimately become involved in addictive, dysfunctional and self-destructive lifestyles.
The road to recovery requires that one learn new living skills. We have found that support groups, personal counseling and workshops are all essential tools of recovery. Our desire is to effectively communicate God's unchanging principles for living the Christ-centered life.
We make ourselves available to the Body of Christ and all of its many expressions and to groups of all sizes. We are also available to assist in establishing recovery/support groups.
