1/4/2005 - PRAISE THE LORD! HAPPY NEW YEAR!

"For this God is our God forever and ever; He will be our guide even unto death".

Psalm 48:14

 

PRAISE THE LORD!  HAPPY NEW YEAR!

    Don and I send you our warmest greetings, and as we read the above verse on Sunday, we were able to say a very hearty "AMEN." God is so faithful, and Don is not only still with us, he feels (as he says), "Better than when they gave me this death penalty."

    Indeed, he does seem better; he has not fainted and as the nausea subsided, he has had an appetite. During December we were visited by numerous friends both in person and via email and telephone. As your prayers have gone heavenward, we are both encouraged and strengthened.

    On Friday, the hospice nurse took a blood draw, and this afternoon we will learn the results. It is possible that God is doing a healing in Don. We know that God can heal him and allow him to remain, or He can heal him and take him home. We continue to pray for God's will and know with certainty that we are loved. You have been major messengers of God's love to us and we are profoundly moved and blessed.

    For the present, I will be in my office everyday and continue to work until we find it necessary  for me to stay home again. It is going to take me at least two days just to catch up on all the emails, etc. Please know that we are eternally grateful for the Body of Christ of which we are members...
