12/15/2004 - A Word of Encouragement

God's grace IS indeed sufficient! In my morning reading of HIS WORD earlier this week, I was encouraged by 2 Chronicles 16. I recently started a new prayer journal, having used all the pages of the previous one. This journal is a very nice one - a gift from a friend with a single verse at the bottom of every other page. I am amazed that each day's verse has spoken directly to my heart and my need for the moment.

This morning the verse was Psalm 4:8: "The LORD will give strength unto His people; the LORD will bless HIS people with peace." I pray that whatever your circumstances, whatever emotions you feel at this time, God is an ever-present Source of all you need.  Don and I thank you for your prayers and love.
